Ender Inciarte’s Glove: Wilson A2000 1799

Gold Glove Winner Ender Inciarte had a terrific year in the field, and won the second highest award for fielders. Ender Inciarte’s Glove is an all-black Wilson A2000 1799-B, and below is a picture of him using it.

Inciarte went with the popular 1799 pattern. The 1799 is the most popular Wilson outfield pattern because it is 12.75″, has an H-Web, and breaks-in two-in-the-pinky. Outfielders love the pattern because it has a nice deep pocket to snag fly balls. Lots of outfielders use this pattern in the pros and in recreational and tournament leagues.

Inciarte uses the A2000 line in all black. The A2000 is very popular due to how durable it is and the price point (even though pros don’t pay for their gloves). The all black colorway on this glove was probably just a stock Pro Issue that Inciarte pulled out of the bag. (Update: the exact glove Inciarte uses was a stock glove a few years back as the 1799-B.)

Unfortunately, Ender Inciarte’s Glove is not offered as a stock glove, even though it’s very plain. You can get a custom like this here or shop other 1799 models here.
