Today we are going to look at Dallas Keuchel’s Glove, a Rawlings Pro Preferred PROS208-4BN. I picked his glove out after watching him pitch and saw the flashy gold labels.
Dallas Keuchel’s Glove is a 12.5″ glove. Pretty big, huh? Despite the bigger size, Keuchel can handle the glove very well (take a look at the gold labels for proof). His glove also has a modified trapeze web.
Here is a look at the design of his glove:
Dallas Keuchel’s Glove is gorgeous: black, navy, and orange. Keuchel with a black Pro Preferred leather palm and back, navy lacing, orange stitching, and navy embroidery. The stock remake of Dallas Keuchel’s Glove looks beautiful in person as well.
More on the stock remake. Keuchel’s stock model is actually 12″, .5″ smaller than his actual glove. The size difference makes the glove something people would actually want, as I have only seen a few players like 12.5″ pitcher’s glove. Besides the size difference, everything else is the same. After seeing, feeling, and using this glove a bit, I really did like the stock Keuchel.
Dallas Keuchel was seen wearing another glove this year, but only in spring training:
It is the same exact pattern and web as his game glove, but this has a different colorway. This looks like bruciatto and navy, and this model is even more beautiful than Dallas Keuchel’s game glove, at least in my opinion.
Which of Dallas Keuchel’s Gloves is your favorite?
