2017 Wilson A2K 1799

The 1799 is a 12.75″ outfield pattern with an H-Web. The 12.75″ length gives you good reach when running down pop flies in the gaps. The H-Web makes a deep pocket for a secure catch. The colorway on this is not my favorite of the batch, but it still looks cool. Vote your thoughts below in the poll, or you can leave a comment if you have any questions or other thoughts.

The A2K is Wilson’s top model. It features Pro Stock Select Leather, which is Pro Stock Leather sorted three times to ensure maximum flawlessness. The back of the glove is lined with rolled dual welting, which is more durable than the single welting you find on most other gloves. The Dri-Lex wrist liner wicks away moisture and keeps the hand dry and comfortable. The A2K features dual palm construction, which means an extra piece of leather is inserted underneath the palm leather to maintain the gloves pocket over a long period of time. The A2K is also shaped three times more than the A2000 in the factory for a shorter break-in period. The A2K will retail for $359.99 for 2016, no increase from 2016. I have both the A2K and the A2000. Both are great, but the A2K has a smaller fit for me.
